"THE NUMINOUS LANDSCAPE"

Gregory Pai’s show “The Numinous Landscape” is a new series of realistic pastel landscapes principally focused on scenes of the Big Island and Maui that reflect a strong spiritual or sacred quality and also appeal to the aesthetic sense.

"BURLS: THE JEWELS OF THE FOREST"

Michael Lee’s exhibition “Burls: The Jewels of the Forest” is a collection of wood vessels that were created from highly prized and rare burls that he collected over 20 years ago-so coveted that most have gone untouched until now.

Congratulations to Roger Whitlock who was awarded "Best in Show" honors at the Sixth Biennial Hawai'i Watercolor Society Signature Show.

New Members!
We warmly welcome two new members to our gallery this month.  Linda Spadaro and Jackie Mild-Lau. Linda has lived in Hawaii since 1973 and is well known for her bold and energetic style in watercolor, acrylic, printmaking, and mixed media on canvas.  Jackie has made Hawaii her home since 1980 where she is highly respected for her sculpture and bronze casting work, and as a teacher with the Honolulu Academy of Arts and the University of Hawaii Outreach College.

Watercolor Demonstrations - Watch a watercolor painter at work most Saturday mornings from 10am to 12noon.
